Kings for a day as Belmont & Edgware look to the future

The first Jewish Schools cricket tournament, The Belmont & Edgware Schools Cricket Cup, was won this week by King Solomon when they beat the Jewish Free School in the
final.

Played at the Met Police Sports Ground in Bushey, in the first round  KSS scored 117-6 in their 20 overs to beat Hasmonean School (83-7) whilst JFS (119-5) beat Immanuel College (73-8).

In the final, JFS batted first and scored 89-8 and in a tense finish, KSS passed their total with the last ball of the match.

In the third place play-off, Immanuel (87-6) beat Hasmonean (63-7).
