Kids ready to step up, says Magid

Marc Magid has promised to keep faith in youth after South Manchester Sports 2nd secured their place in their second cup final of the season.

A solitary effort from Harry Nelson guided them past Reich Insurance in the semi-finals of the Tony Cohen Cup.

The holders will now play either Manchester Maccabi Blue or Heaton Park Rovers followed by a return meeting with Reich in the Harold Feldman Trophy in Altrincham on May 5.

After winning their dress rehearsal, player-manager Magid said: “I would have loved three cup finals but maybe that is being greedy.
