Rafi Kay was Leeds Maccabi’s match-winner as they secured the first part of a possible quadruple with a hard-fought win over South Manchester in the final of the Shonn Trophy.

The MJSL leaders were forced on to the back foot during the opening stages of the final at Prestwich Heyes FC, with South strikers Ben Gould and Josh Gordon causing problems for the Leeds defence., with goalkeeper Reece Levy forced into making an important save.

But having weathered the storm, Leeds forged ahead midway through the half when striker Kay left fly from 25 yards – his shot deceived the South keeper and arrowed into the net.
