Roger Bruck ended his season with two notable victories at the Veterans Inter-Area Championships at Solihull.
Representing the Southern Counties in the M70 division, Bruck won both the high jump and long jump, with marks of 1.25m and 3.57m respectively. Both performances were season bests and in both events he beat the National age-group champion.
Harrow sprinter Nick Davis, 18, improved his 400m personal best for the third time in a fortnight, recording 51.67 to place second in a Southern Athletics League match in Milton Keynes.
Shaftesbury Barnet Harrier George Grant, 14, raised his pole vault best to 2.60m at the Horsham Blue Star Open meeting.
Jessica Hurley, 12, and her sister Rebecca, 14, were both members of winning Shaftesbury Barnet teams for their respective age groups at the Hertfordshire Young Athletes Road Relay Championships in Hayes.
Anna Barnett, achieved a national ranking in the Under 15 discus, with a personal best of 23.86m at the Young Athletes League National Final in Manchester.
