NOMINATIONS
MACCABI LONDON LIONS MASTERS
Adam Myeroff (D) - solid defensively and a real threat from right back. Great delivery. And scored
Sam Sloma (M) - linked it all together
Lee Cash (S) - great touches, created several openings
Adam Stolerman (S) - two goals won the game
Sam Monjack (M - Brady Maccabi) - what a very very impressive young player he is. Should be playing a much higher level
-------------------
MACCABI LONDON LIONS B
Dean Rosenthal (RM) - terrific performance from the first to last minute, working tirelessly on the right hand side and getting two goals and an assist for his efforts
-------------------
HERTSWOOD VALE
Ashley Hirschberger (CB) – led the line with a solid display at the back despite playing out of position. Frustrated the Dons attackers time after time
Danny Feuer (CB) – ensured Ashley eased into life as a CB without much difficulty
Jordan Harris and Ben Davis (LB/RB) – disciplined performances from both full backs. Kept both wingers quiet
Josh Wood and Adrian Leibovitch (CDM) – Inspirational work from the captain and vice-captain. Controlled the game, snuffing out everything that came to them. An essential link between the defence and attack
Elio Elia (LM) – a stronger performance was capped off with an assist and a Robbie Brady-esque free-kick
Josh Cohen (RM) – discovering a new lease of life on the wing with yet another goal, taking him up to seven for the season and three in his last two games
James Millet (CAM) – an incredible performance at No. 10 that Mesut Ozil would’ve been proud of. Darting runs, 3 assists and a header. Best player on the pitch and rightly deserved Man-of-the-match award
Harry Graham (S) – the Jewish Jamie Vardy. Constantly a menace for the Dons defence. Never stopped running and deserved his goal. Would’ve had a hattrick had it not been for the offside flag
Martin Fox (Ref) – kept a feisty match under control. Showed five yellow cards to ensure tempers didn’t ruin the occasion
