There were goals galore on Matchday 8 of the JC MSFL season. Here are the pick of the bunch.
WINNER: John Lessem (Glenthorne A) - stunning solo effort - picked up a loose ball in the midfield and drove towards the goal, beating four players with some clever footwork before chipping the ball over the stranded goalkeeper

NOMINATIONS:
- Motty Korman (Hendon B) - picked up the ball on the touchline and curled the ball superbly into the top far corner to make it 1-0
- Rob Silverman (Team JLGB) - had just carried the ball out of defence and played a 1-2 picking the ball up again just inside the Shirley Park half. Silverman looked up and from at least 40 yards, struck the ball perfectly, the ball flying right in the top corner. There was much jubilation
- Assi Avital (UJIA) - a double lob; once over the defender. Then over the keeper for his hat-trick. A pleasure to watch!
- Ben Rosenblatt (Harmen B – 30-yard rocket with his left foot that flew into the top corner – Straight out of the Jan Arne Riise free kick book!
- Doron Weinstein (Redbridge JC C) - GOAL 3 - his hat-trick goal was an overhead kick from a headed cross - very similar to Pele's goal in escape to victory (albeit the slow motion version!)
- Simon Perlmutter (Norstar A) – latched onto a Jonny Kay through ball on the half-way line and outpaced the Oakwood defender before cutting in and sweetly curling the ball into the bottom corner of the goal past the keeper’s outstretched arm
- Adam Jason (Norstar A) – a bullet of a free kick to rival Roman Pavlyuchenko’s effort on Thursday night
