Israeli wins world windsurfing silver

Nimrod Mashiah won silver at the windsurfing World Championship in Weymouth.

Mashian, 21, is the fourth Israeli to win at medal at the championships, following in the footsteps of Amit Inbar, Gal Fridman and Shahar Zubari.

Competing on the same course that will be used for the 2012 Olympics, Mashian said: “It still hasn't sunk in.

Zubari, who was also competing finished 13th.
