Israel lost its second consecutive match at the European Division 2 Cricket Championships, going down by eight wickets to hosts Guernsey.

Following yesterday’s three-run defeat against Norway, a poor batting display saw Israel dismissed for 86 after 35.2 overs at Port Soif.

Guernsey cruised home, finishing on 90-2 after 23 overs with Stuart Le Provost finishing unbeaten on 42.

Israel have a rest day on Thursday before games on consecutive days against France, Gibraltar and Germany.
