Israel on course for world finals after victory over GB

Israel completed a double over Great Britain in their pursuit of a place in the 2013 Handball World Championship finals.

After winning at Crystal Palace last week, Israel turned on the style in the second game to win 29-20.

The result all but ends Britain’s chances of making the finals and puts Israel in pole position with qualification games against Austria still to come.

Having beaten Great Britain on each of their past five meetings, Israel were accused of being complacent in the first game at Crystal Palace.
