With Pearl Dental CC winning the Israel Night Cricket league for the second time in a row, the battle for the bronze medal is still well under way.
Defeated finalists, Pommeranz Juice Good Old Boys have at least secured the silver medals.
But after two games in the best of three bronze medal match between Modi'in Young Lions and Gold Insurance Bet Shemesh Lightning, both teams are locked at one win each with the final game due to take place on Thursday 21st.
GIBSL, who completely dominated the first match, winning by a very comfortable 20 runs, were completely outplayed in the second contest, losing by 60 runs to a very disciplined MYL side.
Thursday’s match, which will mark the end of the Night Cricket League 2011/2012 season, will undoubtedly be a fiercely close encounter as both sides will feel confident of securing bronze.
The match in Modi'in, will start at 7:30pm with prize giving taking place at 9pm.
