It was out of the frying pan and into the fire on Sunday as I played for my third new team in the space of three weeks. Since joining North London Raiders, I have represented their Masters and B teams. Last weekend, I debuted for the A team, who play in the JC MSFL Division One. They had made a poor start to the season with no wins in five.

Manager Adam Fegan has had his work cut out with a young squad hampered by inconsistency as a large chunk of them are out of London at university.

I helped them claim a surprise 5-1 victory and received a warm welcome from the team, with Adam welcoming "the most famous goalkeeper in Jewish football".

Brady's Josh Rosenfield did his Jimmy Bullard impression as the teams prepared for a throw on, though he certainly got more than he bargained for when he tried to make his presence felt alongside Matt Sheldon and me.
