London Maccabi Vale moved into the last four of the Maccabi Cricket Cup competition with a comfortable five-wickets victory over Belmont & Edgware 2nd.

Had it not been for an excellent 101 from Jonny Kay, BECC would have succumbed but the tenacious Kay ensured that they batted for 37 overs, accumulating a respectable total. His innings featured some great shots and good running in between wickets.

Kay rescued BECC from a very bad start of 17-2 and 48-3, and, together with captain Ryan Monk, he added 47 for the seventh wicket to push BECC to a respectable score of 186. BECC's remaining batsmen managed only 52 runs between them.
