BARRY GOLDSTEIN TROPHY
CAMDEN PARK 4 LONDON ROVERS 2

Camden Park took a big step towards the Barry Goldstein Trophy quarter-finals following a 4-2 victory over newly-crowned Division Three champions London Rovers.

Strikes from Mike Khalastchi, David Khalastchi, Max Saunders and Rob Hershkorn did the trick as the Division One high-flyers moved three points clear at the top of Group A.

Relieved to "finally be off swamp-like council pitches and back on 3g", Camden "tore Rovers apart" in the first half with fluid passing football, and added two goals from set pieces to go in at half time with a comfortable 3-0 lead, courtesy of strikes from the Khalastchi brothers and Saunders.
