Tributes have been flooding in following the success of a joint venture between the Maccabi Junior Football League and Kisharon for Mitzvah Day.
"Today, we had the opportunity of welcoming to our football afternoon venture, the Maccabi GB chairman, Michael Ziff, where he was able to see and participate in our Mitzvah Day event which saw us hosting 10 boys and girls from Kisharon where we intergrated them into two football games.
"The players from our league who participated came from Under 8s North West London Jets versus HMH Negev and from the Under 9s Alyth Belsize against HMH Haifa, and can I take this opportunity of thanking all the players and the management (and of course the parents who attended) for making the afternoon session as exciting for the Kisharon players as it was for the participating players from the four teams."

"Another young boy’s father phoned me today to say that "when Adam woke up today, he immediately put on his T-shirt from yesterday and said "football football" which was his way of saying just how much he had enjoyed himself."
