Hartsbourne retained the Glancy Cup for the third consecutive year after overhauling Abridge's overnight lead on day two at Dunham Forest Golf & Country Club in Altrincham.

The competition is the most important of the year's events arranged by the Association of Jewish Golf Clubs and Societies. This year's line-up featured 18 teams of eight players.

Abridge were the leaders at the end of the day's foursomes play with a team score of 233 gross which won them the Dyrham Park Trophy for the best three out of four gross scores in the foursomes. Their pairing of Michael Mercer and Barry Green won the Whitefield Cup for the best gross score in the foursomes with a superb 74.

Sunday's play was in singles format with six scores out of eight counting towards the team score. Hartsbourne produced the best performance with a gross score of 478 for their six best scores and claimed the Moor Allerton Cup.
