Hartsbourne regained the Glancy Trophy following an excellent set of performances from their players at the tournament at Shirley Golf Club.

The Hertfordshire club won four trophies, including the main prize, The Glancy, which is awarded to the team recording the aggregate of the lowest six scores in the singles combined with the three lowest foursome scores.

Winning the top honour for the fifth time in seven years, Hartsbourne’s team featured Mark Cohen, who was the captain, Jeremy Bohn, Michael Charles, Mark Gershinson, Gary Marin, Mark Posniak, Josh Ralton and Stephen Schindler, with the club captain Martin Vincent. Whitefield finished runners-up followed by Abridge Jewish Golf Society.

Nicky Harris of Whitefield returned the best gross score of 71 to win the Hartsbourne Cup. He beat Hartsbourne’s Jeremy Bohn by three shots, with Bohn taking home the Glasgow Trophy.
