A maiden century from the evergreen Jeremy Harris led London Maccabi Vale 2nd to a seven-wicket victory in a friendly against Crouch End.

Harris’ excellent knock came on the back of a golden duck last week. He was dominant from the start following the early loss of Nigel Rothband who suffered a rare failure.

LMV were inserted on the main strip at Shenley. The team has an experienced look and feel about it with several junior members unavailable - studying for exams. Only Simeon Cohen was under the age of 25.

Harris dominated partnerships of 70 with David Freedman and Daniel Caplan who finished unbeaten on 24.
