LMV secured their third league win of the season, and in doing so scored their highest total and their biggest winning margin since joining the Middlesex Sunday Cricket League.

WM won the toss and somewhat surprisingly asked LMV to bat first in this Division Three contest. David Freedman and the in-form Benjamin Lederman opened the innings which got off to a bad start when the in-form Lederman was bowled off an inside edge by the fifth ball of the match.

Jeremy Harris joined Freedman and runs were soon flowing. Freedman hitting well on both sides of the wicket in a stand of 74 before he was bowled for 30 in a knock containing six boundaries.

Dan Caplan came in and was soon off the mark with a couple of excellently timed boundaries. Harris was also now in full flow and LMV reached the 20-over mark at 110-2. Caplan was out in the 21st over for 19, bringing captain Jonathan Lederman to the crease, as LMV looked to increase the run rate.
