Haroldeans player-manager Jamie Harris bagged a brace while Stephen Rubin, Adam Shiffman, Alistair Goldsmith also weighed in.
A shell-shocked HPR netted a late consolation via Mark Williams as they were condemned to their first defeat of the season.
Two-goal hero Harris believes his side are now on the charge. "It was a great result to beat one of the strongest teams in the league by such a big margin," he told JC Sport.
"You could see our confidence grow once we went 2-0 up before half-time.
"The two early goals in the second-half really killed the game off and it allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves.
"We've won our last three games convincingly so we now need to push on."
Elsewhere, Louis Rawlings was the hat-trick hero as South Manchester Sports 2nd taught Oakhill a lesson in finishing.
The right-footed Rawlings scored three with his weaker left foot to earn his side their first win of the season.
And Oakhill, who started with a bang, were brought back down to earth here in brutal fashion.
The visitors were coasting before Max Berg hit back for Oakhill midway through the second-half.
But Rawlings killed off Oakhill at the death.
