Hapoel Tel Aviv bowed out of this season's Europa League with a 2-0 home win over Academica.
Strikes from super-subs Victor Mare and Hanan Maman sealed Hapoel's first win in the group stages of the competition.
With Victor Mare and Hanan Maman having qualified for the next phase before kick-off, there was little but pride at stake for the Israelis, but they rose to the occasion with an encouraging performance.
Mare broke the deadlock in the second half following good work from Gil Vermouth. The Portuguese side pressed for an equaliser, but Hapoel sealed the points 10 minutes from time, when Mare cushioned a deep cross from the left into the path of fellow substitute Maman, who stooped to head in and seal the win.
Hapoel Kiryat Shmona's Europa League campaign reached its conclusion with a 2-0 defeat against Lyon in France.
Mahamadou-Naby Sarr and Yassine Benzia were the goal men for the group winners.
The hosts gave a run-out to several young players and they forged ahead on 15 minutes when cross from Bastos was powered into the bottom corner by central defender Sarr on his first-team debut.
Hapoel rallied and it needing alert goalkeeping from Lyon's Anthony Lopes to keep out efforts from Ahmed Abed and Shimon Abuhazira.
But any hopes of a Hapoel win were ended early in the second half when Benzia fired past Danny Amos.
