Israel captain Yossi Benayoun has been dropped for next week’s World Cup qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Russia.
The midfielder is still without a club, although he is reportedly in talks with Crystal Palace and WBA, as well as La Liga teams Getafe and Real Betis.
Benayoun’s agent Ronen Katsav told JC Sport: "Yossi has been a free agent since leaving Chelsea so he can complete a move after the transfer window closes."
