Avram Grant says he was appalled by the unsavoury scenes that marred Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations semi-final win over hosts Equatorial Guinea.
Trouble flared at half-time, with Ghana leading 2-0, with their players were pelted with objects thrown from the crowd. Ghana scored a third goal and moments later, their supporters were forced to take refuge behind one of the goals on the pitch after after coming under attack in the stands.
Grant said: "I didn’t know what was happening, we saw some incidents of violence.
"I can't say I wasn't concerned. I care about the security of my players, it's very important to me."
Ghana will play Ivory Coast in Sunday's final.
