The young golfers of the Clubs affiliated to the Association of Jewish Golf Clubs and Societies competed for the John Rubens tournament at Abridge Golf and Country Club.

The competition is open to the Juniors of the London member clubs, Abridge, Dyrham Park, Coombe Hill Hartsbourne and Potters Bar and this year the eligibility was limited to those under 21. The Clubs entered teams of six who competed for both team and individual prizes. The winner of the tournament is the Club with lowest aggregate gross scores of four competitors having discarded the worst two scores.

The scores reflected well on the abilities of the competitors and Kane Longman of the home club returned an excellent gross 83 to win the Abridge Cup beating Matthew Norman of Coombe Hill on a count-back. Norman received the Potters Bar Cup.

Hartsbourne's Alfie Charles won the Dyrham Park Cup for the best nett score, beating Jamie Stoddard (Coombe Hill), who took home the Sussex Cup.
