Phil Peters praised Hendon keeper Yaacov Goldin whose heroics prevented the Premier Division leaders from winning by an even more emphatic margin as NLR booked their place in the next round of the Cyril Anekstein Cup.

Raiders were dominant, as expected, but the score stayed level for the first 25 minutes thanks to some inspired goalkeeping from the Yac in the Hendon net.

However it wasn’t long before the deadlock was broken with a fine finish from Justin Spiro from the edge of the box opening the floodgates with the league leaders proceeding to score seven in 20 minutes to see them go in at the break with the job done.
