Defence is the best form of attack. That is the belief of Southgate Harmen A manager Dan Uzan who masterminded his team's 4-1 victory over defending champions North West Neasden A, Harmen's first-ever victory in the top-flight.

The Division One new boys were written off by many at the start of the season but they silenced their critics with midfielder Ben Graham blasting home a stunning hat-trick. Recent signing Kane Swerner completed the rout. Bradley Sharp grabbed a consolation for Neasden.

Uzan said: "We turned up and firmly parked that Harmen bus. However this time we literally played with 11 men in front of the goal."

The result leaves Neasden in fifth spot, with two defeats from three matches. Manager Jamie Cole lamented: "We conceded four terrible goals."
