Dmitriy Salita is set to exoricse the demons of his Amir Khan nightmare by challenging for the IBA world welterweight title.

Salita, 28, who was crushed by Bolton's Khan last December, will take on Mike Anchondo in a bid to get his career back on track.

The Brooklyn-based Jewish boxer will meet 28-year-old Anchondo, winner of 30 of his 33 fights, at Roseland Ballroom in Times Square, New York.

Salita's own company, Salita Promotions, have teamed up with Universal Boxing to stage the show and has also enlisted the services of legendary trainer Emanuel Steward.
