Hendon manager David Garbacz told JC Sport: "Although personally I wasn't there today, I've had a full report from stand-in gaffer Greg Corin. The game was played on a very small, tight pitch which made it quite a leveller early on.

"In the second half we managed to pull clear with further goals the pick of the bunch being a superb team move which was finished off in style by young Zac Garbacz - the only downside being I wasn't there to witness it!

"All credit to RC UK who fought well especially in the first half and they should go well in their division for the rest of the season. As for us we are delighted to move on to yet another cup quarter-final and have Wingate in our sights once again."

RC UK gaffer Avi Markiewicz told JC Sport: "Today was tough for us to take. The first half was an excellent game of football of two very even teams but we came in at 1-0 down being very much in at and may have even had the better chances.

"It remained that way for the first 10 minutes or so of the second half but Hendon were more clinical so despite the game being pretty level we found ourselves 3-0 down. We felt that there were decisions that were small but crucial that went against us and it cost us. The next three goals we let in were because we let our heads drop and so our shape and discipline went out the windows and we stopped working hard enough.

"The difference between the two teams today though was undeniably two players. Avi and Yehuda Korman. They were a cut above the rest and won the game for Hendon. (Both Totw nominations for Hendon) I'm not going to say we did well or I'm proud, I'm not, I don't care who the other team is, I never like losing and the way we ended off the game wasn't good enough."
