Dean Furman has set his sights on firing Doncaster Rovers into the Championship after sealing his loan move to the Keepmoat Stadium.

South African international Furman, who is out of contract at the end of the season, left Oldham last week following a four-year spell at the club.

The 24-year-old won rave reviews for his performances at the recent Africa Cup of Nations and is set to start in his country’s World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic on Saturday.

But the midfielder is already looking to add to the 27 minutes he played on his Rovers debut against Portsmouth last week with promotion the ultimate aim.
