Republic of Mancunia 2nd boss Paul Levy was left frustrated after his side threw away a two-goal lead to draw with Crumpsall.
Gab Silva and Daniel Klapisch looked to have wrapped up the win to take Republic up to second in the MJSL before they fell apart after the break.
Shaya Halpern’s brace ensured Crumpsall grabbed an unlikely point to extend their unbeaten run to three matches.
And Levy was left unhappy at the way his side failed to build on their advantage after an encouraging first-half display.
“We should have won that game and it would have taken us up to second in the league,” said Levy.
“All the results went for us with Maccabi and Sporting losing but we couldn’t take advantage.
“We were in control at the break and Gab Silva was bossing the game for us and was man of the match.
“But we just ran out of legs and didn’t have any substitutes to replace some of our injured players.
“Credit to Crumpsall though, because they never stopped chasing or running for a second and worked their socks off.”
Crumpsall, who fought back from two goals down to beat Leeds Maccabi 3rd last week, were forced to repeat the feat for the second game in succession.
But stand-in manager Nathan Feldman was pleased with the character showed by his side.
He said: “The goals we conceded were from defensive mistakes but we came back hard, never gave up, and deserved the draw.”
