Temple Fortune chairman Nigel Kyte says he feels ashamed and angry after the club’s A-team’s disciplinary problems escalated when three players were sent off during a fiery encounter against Shirley Park.

Sunday’s JC MSFL Division One match reached boiling point approximately 15 minutes from time when Kane Gilbery, Josh Tiano and Josh Gilbery each received second yellow cards from referee Neal Cohen.

The teams had met last weekend when Shirley Park had a man dismissed, but it was Fortune who let their frustrations get the better of them this time in a match that finished 4-4.

Kane Gilbery was cautioned for foul and abusive language and for kicking an opponent off the ball. Tiano received his first card for bad language followed by another for a dangerous tackle. Josh Gilbery was cautioned for a late tackle and then foul and abusive language.
