Richard Fogelman was the hat-trick hero - making it 13 goals in three games - as Faithfold B won the battle of the second division teams following an eight-goal thriller against Temple Fortune.
Faithfold twice came back from a losing position and showed great determination against a strong Fortune outfit. A shaky start allowed Fortune to score early on but Faithfold bounced back immediately and equalised with a cheeky lob by Fogelman over the onrushing keeper.
Fortune then regained the lead from the penalty spot following. Nevertheless, star striker Fogelman completed his hat-trick and thanks to an absolute stunner from Dan Abrams.
Faithfold found themselves 4-2 up until they conceded to a set-piece which brought the tie back to life. But with 10 to go, with a little fortune, after three blocked efforts the ball landed right at full back Rafi Meyer's feet, who calmly slotted home to guarantee Faithfold's progress to the next round.
Jordan Sharifia (2) and Brett Stead replied for Fortune.
In the post match analysis on the WhatsApp group David Garson praised his team's efforts: "Best performance of the season and we're really starting to play for each other now. Now we need to carry this form onto next week."
Disappointed Fortune boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "We were completely Fogeled - he must have thought Chanukah had come early, we gifted him 3 goals on the plate.
"Not a good day in the office. Next week can't come quick enough to put today's performance right."
