Five-star Ellis sends Bayern through

Daniel Holder saluted five-goal hero Adam Ellis as Bayern Mincha moved into the second round of the League Cup after hitting Mill Hill Dons for six.

Bayern made their traditional slow start and took 25 minutes to get going. Having said that, it was a relatively even game at that stage and they broke the deadline at around 25 with a well-taken free-kick from Ryan Kramer which found the top left-hand corner.

Ellis, who had "one of the best individual performances" manager Holder "had seen from a player" hit back on the 30-minute mark with a Gareth Bale-esque run down the wing, before he smashed it into the bottom corner.
