Oakwood B's title challenge was dealt a blow as they were held 2-2 by Redbridge B for whom Yoni Fialka and David Fialka found the net.
The game started with an early goal from Oakwood, after a headed clearance went to edge of the box and Oakwood were first to react, and Dan Geey finished well to give the title challengers an early lead.
After the goal the game settled down, and the hungry RJC B side, were playing some pretty football, and were dominating the play.
Their domination of play was rewarded when in the in-form striker Yoni Fialka ran onto a pinpoint ball from Brad Gayer, his initial shot was saved by Oakwood B keeper, however Yoni reacted first to the save, and tucked the ball away to bring the score levels. RJC B also hit the bar in the first half from the impressive Gayer.
Oakwood came out fighting in the second half and were dominating the play. The outstanding Dan Andrews was keeping the RJC defence in check.
The fresh legs of Jimmy Castle, David Fialka and Daniel Waxler helped keep RJC B in the game. With 10 minutes to go, Gayer had to come with off with an injury, and as all subs were used, meaning RJC B had to play the last 10 minutes with 10 men.
Oakwood took advantage of RJC 10 men, by taking the lead with a very well worked goal, which was tucked away emphatically by top-scorer Jacob Richler Kleiman.
However, there would be one last twist in this game. The ball broke to the hard working RJC B midfielder Daniel Bean, who played the ball through to energetic supersub David Fialka who took a superb touch away from the Oakwood B defender, drilled a shot which was saved by the Oakwood, but David was first to react to the rebound and tucked it away, to spark wild celebrations from the RJC B camp. An altercation happened after this goal, between Richie Caplin and Oakwood keeper which ended in a second yellow card for Richie due to crazy celebrations.
An RJC spokesman told JC Sport: "A big thank you go to the management team of - Richie Caplin, Daniel Bean and Johan Simberg, who took over the reigns in the absence of Jason Goldstein and Sam Rank."
Oakwood boss Jason Stein told JC Sport; "It's frustrating when you go into the last moments of a game with the lead and then don't win, but yesterday is a lesson for us.
"We've not been clinical enough the last few weeks and perhaps this will be a wake up call for us.
"Yes we missed he opportunity to go back top, but it's still a ninth game in a row unbeaten which isn't to be sniffed at.
"The squad is big and competition is on now. If the players don't know that yet, they certainly do now."
