Team Maccabi GB won a sackload of medals on Thursday at the European Maccabi Games, with outstanding performances in Swimming, Badminton, Squash, Ten Pin Bowling and Futsal.
SQUASH
GB won gold in the Team event.
Player-manager Matt Crawcour told JC Sport: "I'm very proud of our achievement, especially with such an inexperienced team who played to the best of their ability and were too strong for the opposition."

TEN PIN BOWLING
Russ Snipper won his second medal of the Games when he and Richard Da Costa took silver in the Doubles, while there was bronze for Brad Mervish and Craig Grant won their match.
Snipper told JC Sport: "I'm pretty happy, not just for me but for the boys. They lifted me up during the down times so this is for them too.
"The standard is high here and we're putting in great performances.
"We also saw a perfect 300 game from Sweden who we congratulate for an amazing achievement."

Andy Gilbert beat GB teammate Isaac Segalov 9-7 in the Tennis plate.
Jon Barnett set up an all-British quarter-final with another victory in the Masters Singles.

FUTSAL - U16 JUNIORS
GB 6 SPAIN 1
Strikes from Jordan Green (2), Joe Leslie, Jayden Huglin, Jake Salem and Jake Rose earned GB a convincing 6-1 win over Spain who grabbed a consolation from the penalty spot.
Boss Laurence Myers told JC Sport: It was a quality performance. Yet again the boys carried out all instructions perfectly.
"Jordan Green, who has now scored four in two, was first class and James Harpin was excellent in goal.
"We want to finish top of the group, bring on Turkey."
Two-goal Jordan Green told JC Sport: "It was a good performance - we played good futsal.
"We're delighted to be in the semis. It would be a dream to win gold in my first Maccabi Games."

U18 FUTSAL - GB 9 TURKEY 1
A long-range stunner from goalkeeper Josh Tray was the pick of the goals in GB's 9-1 destruction of Turkey.
James Gordon (2), Danny Stapleton, Asher Goldberg (2), Maxim Green, Hordan Nathan and Chaim Korman were the other scorers.
Delighted with his team second consecutive victory, boss Adam Lustigman told JC Sport: "We were ruthless and clinical today but we've not really been tested yet so it's hard to gauge where we are."
GB take on Italy on Friday morning.

U18 FOOTBALL
GB 3 HOLLAND 0
Adam Burchell (2) and Adam Ellis fired GB to an important win over Turkey.
Zac Rose was dismissed after two yellows.
Manager Simon Zamet told JC Sport: "It was a scrappy, hard-fought game. Down to 10 men the boys showed tremendous work-rate and ran out comfortable winners."
Joint-boss Adam Klein told JC Sport: "We started the game like a steam train today, but had to reshuffle after the sending off. The way the boys responded when we went down to 10 epitomises the unbelievable team spirit we have in the camp. Special mention to Burchell for scoring two goals and playing through the pain barrier and Benji Katz and Kalvin Osviowitz for a rock solid display at the heart of defence."

OPEN FUTSAL - GB 9 HUNGARY 0
Jon Kurrant 2, Jamie Nagioff 2, Alfie Brooks and Nick Landesberg were among the scorers as Andy Landesberg's GB crushed Hungary 9-0.
MASTERS FUTSAL - GB 5 DENMARK 5
GB were denied what would've been their first victory in cruel fashions as Denmark scored a controversial penalty in the final seconds.
Dan Reuben was the hat-trick hero for GB, with Jon Rayner also among the scorers.

BADMINTON
Aimee Shulton and Robert Bursack secured silver in the Badminton Mixed Doubles.
Shulton came back later in the day to take another silver, this time in the Women's Singles followed by gold in the Women's Doubles.
Rafi Isaacson and Cole Samson won bronze in the Junior Boys Doubles, while there was silver for Rob Bursack in the Doubles.

Ellie Grant added two more golds to her tally with victory in the 50m breaststroke and 100m fly.
Romy Caton-Jones secured silver in the 50m breaststroke in a GB 1-2. She also won bronze in the 100m freestyle.
