Ellie Grant, 11, recorded event best times on her way to double gold at the London Regional Championships at Crystal Palace.
Grant’s performances in the 100m and 200m breaststroke events saw her achieve national qualification times in the 12-year-old age group.
She will compete in the ASA National Swimming Championships in Sheffield next month.
Ellie now has the fastest time for her age in the country in the 200m and the second fastest in the 100m.
Meanwhile, Joshua Foreman, 10, and Hannah Vogel, 10, have been selected to represent the Brent Schools team in the swimming competition at next month’s London Youth Games.
Both pupils study at the Michael Sobell Sinai School in Kenton.
