Edgar Davids says that keeping Barnet in the Football League would be one of the biggest achievements of his career.

The Bees dropped into the relegation zone following the 3-2 defeat at Torquay on Tuesday and the Barnet player-manager, who is Jewish, has called on fans to make tomorrow’s final home game at Underhill a day to remember.

"We must not let the occasion get to us," said Davids ahead of the match against Wycombe Wanderers.

"Although I don’t go to synagogue, I will say a little prayer before the game as this is an important period in the club’s history.
