Here are the star men from Matchday 6 of the MGBSFL.
1. CAEL PERSUAD (Athletic Bilbaum) - new boy was at his best against Raiders C and capped off with a tidy display and a couple of top saves
2. DARREN BLOOM (Faithfold B) - typically energetic performance against SPEC FC, got up and down well and ran the length of the pitch to finish a wonderful team move
3. GARY TILLER (Real Sosobad) - “was once again Mr Reliable. Nothing got past him defensively and he was a continuous outlet going forward. He played the last 20 minutes in the centre of the park and controlled play like it was his natural position. Superb performance”
4. DAN KING (Oakwood B) - “has been an excellent addition to Oakwood B this season with commanding performances at centre-back. Showing maturity way beyond his years and once again put in a terrific performance today that was topped by a goal”
5. EDDIE MANSON (Oakwood A) - commanding performance at the heart of defence to silence FC Team A
6. JAKE GOTTLIEB (Harmen) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
7. JAKE SAUNDERS (Camden Park) - “yet again a midfield masterclass. Immense defensively coupled with some beautiful attacking plays and topped it off with a goal of the season contender 10/10”
8. NATHAN SOLLOSI (Redbridge JC A) - “his first half performance was worth the admission money alone against Lions A”
9. JONO GAON (Los Blancos) - marked his return to the MGBSFL with a fab four-goal salvo against Brixton
10. DEAN ROSENTHAL (Maccabi London Lions B) - “scored probably the fastest hat-trick in MGBSFL history and tore the Fortune defence apart many times”
11. ZAK McLEOD (Scrabble FC) - maintained his excellent start to the season with two important goals against a resilient Catford & Bromley
MANAGER: Dan Shafron (Real Sosobad)
