Here are the star men from Matchday 17 of the MGBSFL.
1. JAKE DOFFMAN (NL Raiders A) - "a real leader in the side this season. Made match changing save with score 1-0 to Harmen and followed up with two other excellent saves"
2. ALEX LEE (Oakwood A) - "first start for Oakwood and filled in a right back. Very good performance"
3. BEN LEVY (SPEC FC) - "another great performance from the youngster capping it off with his first goals for the club, including a worldie from distance!"
4. LEWIS BLITZ (NL Raiders B) - "capped a solid defensive display by marauding up the right wing for a one two and calm finish to secure the point"
5. JOSH TIANO (Scrabble FC) - "a real captain's performance leading from the back" against Raiders C
6. ZAK McLEOD (Scrabble FC) - "caused the Raiders defence a lot of problems with some probing runs" and a double strike, including a goal-of-the-week contender
7. RICKY ENGLEMAN (NL Raiders A) - "all-action midfield master-class. Popped up with the equaliser and was an example to the rest of his side with his energy, competitiveness and desire"
8. DANNY BLOOM (NL Raiders B) - "excelled at left-back in the first half and in centre-mid in the second half"
9. JOSH BLOOM (ML Lions B) - started the year in style with a fab four-goal salvo against his former club
10. SAM CANTOR (Oakwood A) - "simply unplayable. HE will be disappointed he couldn’t complete his hat-trick from the penalty spot but playing as the target man in a three-man attack, Camden couldn’t cope with his pace and movement"
11. DAVID DINKIN (NL Raiders A) - "scored two, set one up and brilliant hold up play throughout"
MANAGER: Samuel Marchant (ML Lions B)
