The JC panel of judges were disappointed not to see the widely-acclaimed Jason Stein on the shortlist on Matchday 11 of the MGBSFL.
In the end, MOTW Jonathan Adelman got the nod after his philosophical quip after the excellent win over Camden.
He told JC Sport: "Yeah, I gather the win puts us top, but November is way too early to look at the league table. Lots of teams have games in hand and we know its what the table looks like in April/May that counts."

BEST OF THE REST
- HENRY ZIFF (Brady) - tweeted: "Boom. Had Mogilner as fantasy captain too. #1T1D"
- JEREMY BROWN (London Rovers) - "Congratulations to Avi for scoring his third consecutive hat-trick, I can't remember when that was last achieved so I hope he gets the credit he deserves"
- JON JACOBS (Redbridge B) - "Daniel Garfinkle scores so many goals. Think what he could actually achieve if he had a left foot!"
- DAVID GARBACZ (Hendon A) - "This year's title winners will be one of these two teams and we have to make sure we match them stride for stride and pip them again at the post as we did last time around"
- ROB RICHMAN (NLR A) - "I think it only right to mention the performance of Hendon's Avidan Last. Hendon's goalkeeper Russ Corin went off after an hour with a back injury and Avidan stepped into the breach. In my view he won his side a point today, doing absolutely superbly to stop Stock scoring a third which I think would have been a goal too many for Hendon to come back from"
- SIMON LINDEN (Blizzard Storm) - "If Brady can keep that team together, I can't see anyone getting near them in our division"
- MAX SAUNDERS (Camden Park) - "To go from our performance the week before against Harmen, where we outplayed a top Premier team for the majority of the game, to what we displayed on Sunday, is mind-boggling"
- JONATHAN COHEN (Temple Fortune) - "People in glass houses should not throw stones. They are a good side and we wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season"
