Faithfold A are celebrating a win double after central defender Dan Howard and manager Zuriel Solomon scooped the JC MSFL honours for September.
The awards are recognition of the Superhoops making a flying start to the season – they lead the Premier Division by two points and, under Solomon, are unbeaten in five matches.
Howard has stepped up his games in the opening weeks of the season, earning two team of the week nominations and helping the Greens clean one clean sheet.
The honours in Division One are split between Shirley Park and table-toppers Glenthorne United A. Hotshot Jamie Kent is my star man after smashing home eight goals, while Sam Rosenthal wins the top boss gong after taking the Thornes to the summit. Shirley Park’s Dave Lusman and Hendon’s dream team of Motty Korman and Chaim Gothold also received special praise from the JC panel of judges.
North West Neasden B cleaned up in Division Two with midfield maestro Sam Foster and manager Adam ‘the Doc’ Levene grabbing the headlines, while Glenthorne’s young pairing of Jordan Sapler and Liam Stein were billed as “ones to watch”.
The silverware was shared in Division Three with the red-hot Ben Zloof edging out young gun Jono Gaon to the top player title, while Ariel Tamman won the top managerial prize after edging out Ian Tussie on goals and entertainment value.
Gaon's efforts do not go unnoticed after he bagged the JC Young Player of the Month crown.
