There were some top-notch strikes on Matchday 7 of the MGBSFL, but Zak McLeod's audacious Ibrahimovic-esque backheel to lob the keeper in the box was voted the pick of the bunch.
It was a thing of beauty, a work of art ... a piece of quick-thinking and precision of the highest quality.

BEST OF THE REST
- OLLIE BRILL (Jewdinese) - a stunning 30-yard strike
- ANDY LEVY (Real Sosobad) - Levy pulled off one of the strikes of the season as he picked up the ball on the left side, cut in and whipped it in to the top right hand corner from 25 yards out. One for the scrapbook
- JOSH JACOBS (Real Sosobad) - brilliantly worked team goal as Josh Cohen found James Law with a 50-yard through ball cutting apart the Lions defence. Law skinned the left back and put the ball across goal for Josh Jacobs to tap in
- GUY HELMAN (Oakwood A) - drifted past two men, wrong-footed another and tucked it so calmly with his left into the far corner
- BEN JOSEPH (NL Raiders A) - bent a brilliant free-kick into the top right-hand corner
- JOSH MARKS (Camden Park) - Max Saunders headed clear into the path of Robert Hershkorn who played a first-time ball out wide to full-back Nick Kagan. He in turn played a first-time ball in between the lines to Richard Silver who picked the ball up on the right-hand side, took one touch then guides it into the path of Marks who made a darting run into the 18-yard box and then struck the ball cleanly across goal, first time, into the bottom left corner. A brilliant team move
- MICHAEL KHALASTCHI (Camden Park) - fantastic lofted cross from Luke Brookner from the left-back position was perfectly met the head of Khalastchi who beat the keeper with a beautifully guided header into the top corner
- DANIEL BANETH (Camden Park) - Camden worked the ball down the left-hand side, it fell to Adam Paris in the box who cleverly flicked the ball over the defender’s head in a very tight area. The ball dropped kindly to Daniel ‘Don P’ Baneth, on the edge of the area, who shimmied to beat one defender then calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner
- ARON BARNES (FC TEAM C - GOAL 1 - picked up the ball 25 yards from goal and curled it over the dive of the goalkeeper
- ARON BARNES (FC TEAM C - GOAL 2 - winning the ball from the midfielder deep in his own half, Barnes glided past one player, played the ball wide to Adam Stolerman and continued his run at full pelt - like he hadn’t just played 120 minutes - to meet the pass with a neat flick over the goalkeeper
- DARREN ZITREN (Temple Fortune) - a stunning edge of the box, bottom of the far corner finish
- JACOB BRUNNER (Athletic Bilbaum) - Brunner's initial free-kick bounced back off the wall and he volleyed it with his weaker foot straight back over both the wall and SPEC's keeper
- DAN COHEN (AC Whetstone) - GOAL 1 - a screamer - He cut inside his marker man and hit a curling shot round the keeper that flew in. Even the opposition said afterwards that it was a great goal!
