Labelled him "the best player in the MGBSFL" pre-match by Mitch Young, it was quite fitting that Daniel Stanton popped up with the late winner that won the FC Team derby.
Playing up top, the twinkle-toed former London Lions and Team Maccabi GB star finished off a flowing one-touch flowing counter-attacking move high into the roof of the net to floor the B's.
The strike ended FC Team B's unbeaten record and has no doubt given the C's belief that this could be their season.

BEST OF THE REST
- DOM CHENIART (King Crown) - an effort reminiscent of Victor Wanyama's - the Hendon GK sliced a clearance, the ball fell to Cheniart 40 yards out, he took one touch and lofted it over the keeper - a stunning strike!
- DAN COHEN (AC Whetstone) - stepped up, pretty central and cracked a wicked curling free-kick literally millimetres below the bar
- CRAIG EDWARDS (NW Neasden) - 30-yard thunderbolt that ended Whetstone's hopes of a giantkilling
- DAN STANTON (FC Team C) - one-touch flowing counter-attacking move finished by Stanton high into the roof of the net
- BEN LAMPERT (ML Lions Blue) - stunning free-kick against FC Team A
- JAMIE SINAI (Catford & Bromley) - with his back to goal, he managed to flick the ball backwards, chipping it over the keeper and into the goal. Although from close range, it really was a brilliantly deft finish
- ROB HERSHKORN (Camden Park) - opened the scoring with a quite special 35-yard ping into the top corner against his former club
- JAMIE WEINRICH (Boca Jewniors) - 25-yards screamer. left-footed into the top right-hand corner
