Players from both FC Team sides and Redbridge Jewish Care took centre stage on Matchday 4 of the MGBSFL.
1. BEN SHELDON (NL Raiders C) - "stepped in to play in net with a bunch of players he's not played with before. Was extremely commanding and made excellent saves including a stunning penalty save"
2. JONNY KAYE (AC MILL HILL) - didn't put a foot wrong against Jewdinese
3. IAN BARON (L'Equipe) - "immense" in the goalless draw against Raiders C
4. BRANDON SASSOON (Jewdinese) - "defended well but in attack he played like an experienced striker. Scored three goals to make the score line respectable "
5. YONNI BORD (Catford & Bromley Maccabi) - "his last game before departing for Israel. He was exceptional in the middle of the park - scoring one and laying another on for Joel Isaacs with an exceptional through ball. He was often the last line of defence and then the furthest man forward. Possibly his best game in a Catford shirt (and there've been a fair few good performances from him over the years for the Cats)"
6. BEN RADSTONE (FC Team C) - "stopped a lot of the Whestone attacks, worked hard and was a massive presence in the centre of midfield"
7. EMILE BEN ATAR (FC Team C) - "centre midfielder played at centre back and won everything in the air and was composed on the ball"
8. BLAKE BUCKMAN (FC Team C) - "scored the opening goal and caused the Whetstone defence problems with his running and direct play. Worked hard defensively and put in a lot of strong challenges"
9. LORIAN MADANES (FC Team B) - "captain for the game and dictated the play for 90 minutes"
10. BEN ZLOOF (AC Mill Hill) - two-goal hero was man-of-the-match in the 4-3 thriller against 'Nese
11. MITCH YOUNG (FC Team B) "first start of the season and was not meant to play after just having a baby, but the side needed him as only had 10 players - solid"
