Classy Crown have hit top gear, says Kadoch

There was some early drama at the Lodge as Hendon were awarded a penalty, a decision Kadoch described as "a crazy decision considering nobody even appealed". The resultant spot-kick was coolly converted by James Neidle after 15 minutes, but it only served to spark King Crown into life.

King Crown kept focus and Kadoch believed "it was only a matter of time" until they would be back on level terms.

25 minutes in and the ball was played striker Nusenbaum, who, with his back to goal, swivelled past his marker and smashed the ball in the roof of the net from an acute angel. Kadoch described it as an "instinctive striker's effort".

Crown moved ahead five minutes later when the energetic full-back Ricky Fox played the ball to Braham who then played a superb through ball to Nusenbaum who smashed the ball top corner first time to make it 2-1.

It was 3-1 five minutes later as Kadoch, who made is debut for the season, held the ball up and fizzed a pass to Nusenbaum who played in Braham down the flank. He pulled the ball back on the edge of the box to Yoel Deal who curled the ball with his left foot into the bottom left.

The goals continued to flow and the fourth arrived five minutes later. The midfield of Josh Aziz, Ben Garfield and Deal were simply dominant and Hendon struggled to cope with their intricate passes, which resulted in Braham who drilled his shot into the bottom corner.

King Crown did not stop there, with goal no. 5 arrived on the stroke of half-time. The back four of Jeremy Kaminsky, James Korn, Yossi Lanning and the immaculate Fox all had a part to play, showing great composure before switching the play from full-back to full-back. The ball made its way to player-manager Kadoch who laid off to Deal who then played in Braham who took it past the defender and side-footed the ball top corner.

The second half was a case of damage limitation for Hendon, while Crown were looking to boost their goal difference. It became 6-1 on the hour mark as substitute Dominique Cheniart played a neat one-two with Ben Garfield before releasing Braham. Kadoch said: "The lad on the form he is in, there is only one outcome" and he dispatched a shot into the bottom left just inside the box.

Then came what Kadoch described as the "goal of the game". Defender James Korn started the move, before smart link-up play involving Cheniart, Deal and Ben Garfield in the middle saw the ball switched to Braham after a 25-pass move in which most of the Crown team had a touch of the ball. Braham, who had switched to the right flank, received a Gerrard-esque pass, took one touch out of his feet and crossed the ball for the onrushing Deal to head home in some style at the back.

Kadoch told JC Sport: "It could have easily been double figures, with the Hendon keeper making several quality saves, and we hit the crossbar twice in the second half. Our keeper was a spectator and that's no disrespect to Hendon.

"They are a good side and I don't think they will experience anything like that in their season. I said when King Crown click this season it will be a pleasure to watch and that is exactly what it was. I would put the whole team in team of the week if I could!"

Hendon boss Adam Glekin told JC Sport: "Our squad was considerably weakened, but I'm still very disappointed with the result.

"It's the first time this season that we've been comprehensively beaten and it's not a nice feeling.

"We have two big games coming up before the new year and we're aiming for six points."
