Darren Yarlett, the North West Neasden coach, believes that his team are back to their best after they stuck 12 past Division Three favourites Glenthorne United A on the 3G at the Hive.
A sensational five-goal salvo from LEE CASH helped current holders Neasden cruise into the next round.
Having experienced a poor first-half of the season, Cole was delighted with the display.
"Overall it was a good performance, especially with the amount of boys who were not available for selection, Yarlett said. "We had to pull in Andy Glynne who kindly did us a favour and even I had to play which was enjoyable.
"We passed the ball well and took our chances; I think it gives the lads a bit of confidence in a season that has not gone right for us.
"We went into the game knowing that Glenthorne had been on a great run in the league and did not underestimate them but I think quality and experience showed. Attitude was good and people played with smiles on their faces.
"To Glenthorne's credit, they never gave up and continued to play. They have two or three guys in their side that could easily play higher level. Ppersonally I thought Dan Lipman was excellent and has a lot to offer."
The tie was as good as over after five minutes with NWN racing into a 3-0 lead.
There was also a hat-trick for defender JAKE GOTTLIEB with other strikes coming from Andy Glynne, Kyle Bentwood, Shai Revivo and Jon Ellis.
Glenthorne's scorers were Liam Stein and Gary Tiller.
Cole said: "It was good to get back to winning ways. Hopefully we can continue.
"Injuries, suspensions and players leaving have not helped our season. We lost Dan Cole, Scott Schindler and Adam Levene which was three of the back four. Also with Lions Saturday making the step up it has been hard for the boys to play two games in two days.
"Lee Cash has had bad hamstrings but finally looks like the player we all know. He is scoring on Saturdays and Sundays, and long may it continue. I also believe that some of the new players who came in and have now left did not show enough and maybe in the end were the wrong people to bring in.
"I think this can help in games coming up, we know the league is over and hope that my good pal Danny Berg at Redbridge goes onto win it but if we can get a good run going then top four would be great and we are still in two cups so who knows.
"We hope to retain the PM cup or go one better and win the Anikstein, with plenty of games coming up it should be an interesting run in."
"The Peter Morrison is a great trophy and we would love to win it for the fourth consecutive time, but there's a long way to go."
Glenthorne player-manager Daniel Lipman told JC Sport: "The boys fought until the end but the truth is Neasden are leagues above us, but it was good for the boys to see the standard we should all be aspiring though.
"Back to our bread and butter next week with a home game against a struggling Faithfold C, at home, and I have no doubt that the boys will bounce back with a big performance."
