Cardiff Maccabi suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of Old Atradians in the Cardiff Midweek Cricket League Division Three.
Playing their fourth match of the season, Cardiff bowled first and an excellent four-wicket burst from 16-year-old Stefan Rollnick, in his first game of the season, helped restrict Atradians to 118/9 from 18 overs.
There were solid contributions from Neil Schwartz (34) and Joe Jacobson (30) who shared a partnership of more than 40 runs in the Cardiff reply, but they were unable to see the job through, falling just four runs short.
