London Maccabi Vale eased to a storming 122 run against Botany Bay at the weekend.

Vale batted first and Jonathan Cantor got them off to a terrific start and he partnered well with Jacob Freedman to give Vale a commanding lead. Jon Galloway joined Cantor to add a further 71 before the latter finished on 73.

But Galloway continued where Cantor left off and was eventually caught out for 62. Captain Saul Weitzman and Avi Schwartz stepped up to finish the batting at 206 in 40 overs.

Having set their opponents an imposing target, Vale got off to a great start when bowling as Jonathan Freedman took three for 18 and Benjamin Lederman another two for 20 as Botany Bay struggled to cope with their deliveries.
