David Garbacz says his players are relishing a cup final meeting with Norstar London Raiders A after a late cameo from super-sub Avidan Last fired Hendon into another Wingate final, at the expense of Camden.

Delighted Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "Once again Camden showed what a decent team they are as they took this game right to the wire. The final score line would suggest a comfortable win, but this game was still in the balance right up to the 80th minute.
"Although we dominated possession and created the clearer chances, Camden kept battling away and it was not until Avidan last came on for the final 20 minutes and scored two excellent goals that we were able to put this game to bed.
Today was an emotional day - it was josh Lipman's final game before his Aliyah and we gave him a poignant farewell gift before the game and the all important one after the game with the final result.
"It was a great game which I'm sure was enjoyed by all including those involved with Camden. They simply did not go away and we had to be extremely careful in order to avoid an upset.

"We are delighted to be in the final of this famous competition and it should be a cracker against Norstar - the two top teams in the league contesting a cup final in May - what could be better?
"I await their request to change the venue from Wingate to their 3G as I'm not sure they've played a game away from it all season - their boys might have to actually go out and buy a pair of real boots which has been unheard of so far this year. Let's bring it on - may the best team win!"
Camden boss Nick Kagan told JC Sport: "We battled hard to stay in the game against a strong Hendon side, coming back from 1-0 and 2-1 down – but conceding the third with a few minutes to go knocked the stuffing out of us, before two late goals made the scoreline flatter Hendon. Good luck to them in the final. Deserved winners on the day.
"That's the end of our season – and a lot of lessons learned, especially the level of fitness and fight you need to be at every week to compete with Premiership sides.
"We'll use the long summer break to re-group and come back raring to go for our Division 1 campaign."
