Maccabiah-bound Adam Brand has reached 12,000 runs for London Maccabi Vale. The right-handed batsman recently scored a century for the MCC.

LMV chairman Terry Hyman said: “It is a phenomenal achievement. Adam has shown such wonderful commitment to the club for such a long time and this is an example to all who play for the club.”

Richard Black (39) top-scored as LMV 1st beat Eastcote by six wickets in a friendly. Ryan Kangisser took 5-21 as LMV dismissed Eastcote for 138.

A poor batting display led to LMV 2nd losing their third league match of the season in the Middlesex Sunday League Division Three. Jonathan Lederman (33 not out) was the top-scorer as they were dismissed for 125 against Haryom. An excellent spell from Jeffrey Permutt proved in vain as Haryom won with several overs to spare.
