MGBSFL DIVISION THREE
KING CROWN 3 BOCA JEWNIORS 0
PHIL BRAHAM was the hat-trick hero as King Crown extended their winning run with a professional victory over Boca at Chase Lodge.
King Crown had a weakened side this week, with five top players missing. However, the game showed the depth of squad and they started the game with pace and power.
Braham opened the scoring midway through the first half. He hassled the centre back and forced an error, before firing a low shot into the bottom right-hand corner.
One became two 15 minutes later when a dominant Crown starting to dictate. Midfielder Yoel Deal, in his fist game back, looked impressive. He was involved in some great link-up with Ben isaacs, with Braham reacted to the ball which deflected off a defender, before smashing it in first time again.
King Crown were solid in the second half, with their back four of Elliot Grant, James Korn, Yossi Lanning and Mark Driver ensuring there was no way through for Boca - indeed, they have not conceded a goal in open play for over 280 minutes.
Braham completed his hat-trick on 65 minutes, when a free-kick from Deal hit the wall. He tried again from the rebound before Braham stepped up to blast home from inside the box.
Delighted King Crown boss Jacob Kadoch told JC Sport: "It was a very good game from the boys. I can't ask for more - three goals and another clean sheet.
"We take every result with confidence to build and look to improve every game. We will get better."
